Overheard at work...

I overheard this at work today. Made me chuckle:

I have to write all these blasted 'DummyViewModels' so the boss can work in Expression Blend because he's an absinthe drinking 'artist'

He'll probably come in with an ear missing on Monday

What a weekend.

Well, its all go here. Got the contract through from the agency for the new position, so moving on after 3 years in my current job - off to work for a bank in their Wealth Management department so quite exciting.

So this weekend, I was out riding a horse when it decided to gallop off under a tree - I and the horse departed company, and now I have a big bruise on my arm where the tree hugged me. Damn.

Later on, I walked into a door and near enough knocked myself out. Damn.

This morning I woke up to find I had left a pan of chicken stock on the stove all night - it was a bit smelly and burnt. Damn.

So, a bit eventful. :)
